Indiana Warrant Records Indiana Warrant Records

Indiana warrant information sits with several different custodians: the Indiana Judicial Branch’s MyCase portal can show eligible case events, the Indiana State Police administers restricted law-enforcement information services, and local courts and sheriffs keep the records needed to confirm a warrant. Indiana has no public website that searches every active arrest warrant statewide. This guide explains what each channel can tell you and points you toward the county court or sheriff that can verify the record.

Why We Built This Site

We created this hub because warrant questions in Indiana involve separate court, law-enforcement, and public-record channels. MyCase is the Indiana Judicial Branch’s case-search portal, not a warrant-search service; an eligible public case summary may show a warrant event, but a missing result does not settle current status. IDACS connections to NCIC serve authorized criminal-justice users and are not open for public self-service. County Circuit and Superior Courts issue many warrants, with court configuration varying by county; local city and town courts also handle matters within their limited jurisdiction. The Clerk of the Circuit Court keeps county trial-court case records, and the sheriff or another named service agency can confirm what its system shows. Our role is to explain these limits and direct readers to the proper local office, since no single public Indiana system covers all active arrest warrants.

What You Will Find Here

  • Open matters: how to understand Outstanding Warrants and verify an active-status question with the holding agency
  • Missed court dates: how Bench Warrant Search guidance distinguishes county trial courts from local city and town courts
  • Arrest process: where Arrest Warrant Search information comes from and why official confirmation remains local
  • Resolving a warrant: the steps to clear a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond
  • Indiana's systems: how the Warrant System page explains MyCase and restricted IDACS/NCIC access
  • Local contacts: the County Directory routes you to one of Indiana's 92 county sites

What We Cannot Do

Indiana Warrant Records is an independent reference site, not a court, county sheriff, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Those boundaries mean we cannot:

  • Provide legal advice about how an Indiana warrant affects a particular case
  • Accept bond payments or arrange a court appearance, surrender, or warrant walk-through
  • Issue a warrant, serve it, or update an official court or law-enforcement record
  • Confirm that a person does or does not have an active warrant
  • Recall, quash, remove, or clear a warrant from any official system
  • Promise every fee, office detail, or listing on this site is up to date

For an authoritative status, ask the issuing court and the sheriff or other agency responsible for service. We can identify the relevant channel, but only those record holders can confirm whether the warrant remains active or was recalled.

Search Partners

Third-party companies operate the search boxes that appear on some pages and set their own prices, services, and results. If a visitor follows one of those tools to a paid registration, we may receive a referral payment that helps support this site. Their information is not an official warrant check, and we do not control their charges or search results.
